Energy-Neutral Living

The Project in Almere is near completion. The first keys have been handed over to the first buyers and the 69 new build homes have nearly been realized. Congratulations to Ballast Nedam Development and we wish all new owners all the best in their new homes. Our collaborative relationship is a great step towards green living in the Netherlands and to helping the Dutch government reach their goal for all homes to stop using natural gas by 2050. Our architecture and master planning has produced a design for the future, most notable is that all homes connect to the city’s sustainable heating network instead of using natural gas. This significantly reduces the CO2 emissions per household.

We look forward to future collaborations to continue driving design to enable energy-neutral living.
